RCM and revenue operations

Take control of your revenue — without giving up your EHR.

ROOT works inside the systems your practice already uses. Every claim, denial and credentialing task gets a named owner, a reason and a next action — and you see the same numbers we do.

  • No forced EHR replacement
  • Named exception owners
  • Weekly cash reconciliation
  • HIPAA-aligned processes

Sample workspace illustration: five claims with status, owner, amount and next action, plus a queue of three exceptions being assigned to named people.

How it works

What actually changes when ROOT takes over the work?

Three moves, repeated every week. Nothing about your clinical workflow has to change.

  1. Reveal

We baseline your open claims, denials, aging A/R and enrollment gaps so you can see exactly where revenue is waiting.

  2. Assign

Every exception gets a named owner, a reason and a due date. Nothing sits in an anonymous backlog.

  3. Reconcile

Each week, cash collected is reconciled against open work — on a dashboard you and ROOT both read.

Services

Who handles each part of my revenue cycle?

RCM, A/R recovery, credentialing, prior authorization, practice setup, virtual support, reporting and DIRT intelligence.

Specialty revenue operations

Does ROOT know how my specialty bills?

Each specialty bills differently. We start from the payer rules, codes-in-context and documentation habits your specialty actually lives with.

Shared visibility

Will I see the same numbers you see?

Yes. Your team and ROOT work from one shared view of claims, denials, credentialing and cash — so weekly reviews start from facts, not from a report you have to trust.

  • One dashboard for your team and ours
  • Every open item shows its owner and next action
  • Cash reconciled weekly against open work

DIRT intelligence

Purposeful intelligence. Traceable next actions.

DIRT is the intelligence built into ROOT’s service. It turns claims, denials and payer activity into a short list of next actions with owners.

Technology ecosystem

Can I keep my software?

ROOT works alongside the EHR/PM platforms, clearinghouses and enrollment portals practices already rely on. Access is confirmed with each practice during scoping.

Questions

What do practice leaders ask before switching?

Straight answers about software, ownership, visibility and cost.

Can I keep my software?
Yes. ROOT works inside the EHR, practice management system and clearinghouse you already use. We are not asking you to replace anything, and your clinicians keep their daily workflow.
How does ROOT get access to our systems?
Through individual user accounts that your administrator creates and can revoke at any time. Access scope is agreed in writing during onboarding.
How long does it take to get started?
It depends on your payer mix, system access and backlog. We agree a start plan with dates during scoping, and exception work begins as soon as access is in place.
Where is my money?
Every open claim shows where it sits — submitted, pending, denied or paid — with a named owner and the next action. You see it on the same dashboard ROOT uses.
What is named exception ownership?
Every unpaid claim, denial and credentialing task is assigned to a specific person on the ROOT team, with a reason and a due date. Nothing sits in an anonymous queue.
